Director of Creative Services
Wexner Center for the Arts at The Ohio State University, is currently seeking a Director of Creative Services. The Director of Creative Services is responsible for the integrity and vitality of the center’s institutional brand—as a distinctive entity within The Ohio State University. He/she oversees the manifestation of that brand across multiple print and electronic platforms, and ensures both consistency and dynamism in all applications. The Director of Creative Services is expected to be a savvy and symbiotic collaborator with the Director of Marketing & Communications in astutely capturing and reflecting the center’s unique institutional ethos and brand identity. Ultimately, however, the Director of Creative Services must “own” visualization of the brand, along with the Director of the Wexner Center.
Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; 5-7 years in responsible brand and/or design position (including project supervision)-- ideally in for-profit and not-for-profit sector; experience with print, digital, social and environmental media; familiarity and fluidity with design “eco-system”—local, national, and international vendors, free-lancers, and others who might be tapped to enhance a particular project.
