Current Opportunities

The Chief Exhibitions and Collections Officer (CECO) oversees the Museum’s art holdings, implements the exhibitions program, oversees the museum’s Graphic and Exhibition Design function, and  integrates the activities of all teams within and across the organization.  The CECO works closely with and reports to the Director of SFMOMA and is a member of the Executive Team of senior museum leaders. In collaboration with the Executive Team, the CECO works to establish and execute the overall strategic vision of the museum and realize dynamic programming in the galleries, on line, and in the museum’s educational spaces.  Representing the museum locally, nationally, and internationally, the CECO advocates for the museum’s programs, collections, and staff with peer institutions, the board, donors, and staff.
