Minneapolis Institute of Arts Free Family Day

March 10, 2013

On March 10, the Minneapolis Institute of Art invited families to celebrate cities big and small with free art activities for all ages. Families created skyscraper hats and drew a bustling city scene inspired by the Minneapolis skyline. Participants also visited The World at Work: Images of Labor and Industry, an exhibition drawn entirely from the MIA's permanent collection. For images from this event visit the Minneapolis Institute of Art's Facebook page.

The Minneapolis Institute of Arts offers a wide range of free programs including tours for visitors with memory loss and their caregivers, tours intepreted in American Sign Language, and more.
