AAMD has completed its 2020 Salary Survey, which includes responses from 187 museums in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and covers more than 50 different staff positions, from the director’s office to leadership and support positions in curatorial, education, advancement, communications, and security departments. Responding institutions include both current and former AAMD members.

New for this year is the addition of data for full-time Visitor Services Associates, as well as for the part-time positions of Visitor Services Associates and Museum Security Guard. The report was developed in partnership with Stax Inc., a consulting and analytics firm.

This is the 35th salary survey issued by AAMD.
